Solution focused towards a better world

A few solution focused questions

What is YOUR vision of a better world?

What would be different in this world?

What would be different for the poorest ones?  For the weakest ones? For those who have no drinking water? For children who currently have to work and don't go to school? For victims of wars? For those who are persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, political opinion or belonging to a social group? For refugees? For those who are tortured? Those who are hungry?

What would be different for our planet? For the nature? For those who will live in our planet in 10 years? In 50 years? In 100 years? In 300 years?

What did you already do these last weeks for your vision of a better world (it could be a very little thing, even a tiny action)?

What did you already do in your life for your vision of a better world (again, it could be a very little thing, even a tiny action)?

For whom did that make a difference? (Please take the time to think about it, even if your action affects only ONE person, and makes only a small, tiny difference). What could be different for a particular person you have perhaps in mind? For his/her futur? For his/her children?

What difference could that make for our planet (even if it’s a tiny, microscopic difference)?

And what positive difference could that make for your grandchildren? For your children? For your family? For you?  For who could this be an good example?

What little step could you do today? Tomorrow? Next week? Next month? In your daily life? In your job? In your family?

Please remember: for the "solution focused approach", questions are always about small differences and perhaps even for ONE single person. We insist because changes, even small ones, are motivating, so it’s important to focus on them in order not to feel overwhelmed (and we probably all feel overwhelmed if we think about the problems of our world). So, I insist: small changes are relevant. And small changes can make a difference! Who knows, having something more to eat one day can help somebody to find the energy to find new solutions and perhaps to initiate a virtuous cycle.
